A human centred design guide relative to future automobiles and lifestyle companion
The arrival of the digital technologies has broken down the traditional preconception of the road vehicle as a passive means of transport. It has produced instead a growing sense of place for work or leisure, which has enriched all people’s lives. With this nature of automobile, the main goal of the research is to develop an automotive design guide, which might contribute to be used when automobile companies design products, systems, and services relative to people’s lifestyle.
Human centred design approach will be employed to extract latent people’s desires for future automobiles across the whole research. Qualitative research methods will be mainly used such as ethnographic in-depth interviews, design workshop and focus group activities in order to investigate critical design challenges and potential issues which embedded in people’ life in diversified future automobile persona-based scenarios.
